Satisfy Running - Making Running Cool

French label, Satisfy Running, is about more than just stylish running gear. With a collection of apparel and accessories that would elevate any runners kit.

Brice Partouche, founder of the Parisian running brand, originally preferred a skateboard over running trainers up until his 30s. After being convinced to start running by a friend, he instantly became “addicted, obsessed and possessed” - 3 words you can see branded on Satisfy garments. As a result, Satisfy Running was created. The name Satisfy, originates from the simple feeling Partouche gets from running - which many of us can relate to. He was not new to the apparel scene, coming from his own denim brand launched back in the naughties, but he was new to the sportswear scene.

Since the brand started, it has grown to reach the type of hype you would usually find in streetwear brands.  Runners now waiting for the latest race singlet to drop, not the latest sneaker raffle. This has stemmed from Partouche being able to do what many sports brands cannot - make running look cool. Satisfy Running aims to provide the everyday runner with technology that is often saved for the elites. For example, moving away from knitted fabrics for shorts and creating a woven fabric that dries 60% faster, and is 30% lighter. Let's not hide away from the fact why Satisfy products tend to cost more than other activewear brands. With better fabrics, the majority of items being produced in Europe and Japan and having the approach that of a luxury brand has, it’s clear to see why.

Winter 2021, freezing temperatures, frosty mornings and sharp winds: an easy excuse for any runner to skip a training day. Satisfy Running have launched their winter pack to overcome this with the belief that the highest of highs can be attained over winter runs. The collection has been inspired by Norway based ultra-runner Patrick Stangbye, friend to Partouche. Considerations such as colour palette and how to dress and layer clothing during a winter run coming from Patrick.

Starting with the Cloud Merino™ T-shirt, it is made with the lightest merino wool in the world, knitted and hand died in Japan - making each piece slightly unique. Below a Merino T-shirt, a runner may wear the Coffee Thermal base layer. Coffee Thermal is a breathable fabric sourced in France, which conserves heat acting as a thermal base layer. As well as new uppers, Satisfy have also released new shorts. The new Trail 3” shorts sport a printed Ripstop fabric sourced from Japan - a water repellant fabric that is used by the military to make parachutes. The back pockets of the shorts can store up to 8 gels, perfect for any long run and a feature many marathon runners cry out for.

Satisfy Running Winter Pack is now available on their website, with many items high in demand. With Satisfy exploring the culture of running and bringing that to their collections, they will definitely continue to meet a runners needs.
